How the policy engine decides
Every prompt is scored on-device against your policy before it ever reaches the model. Ordinary drafting, brainstorming, and research pass through untouched. Alesia only steps in when the text matches a category you've defined as risky, like customer records, source code, or unsigned contract terms. That distinction is what makes company-wide adoption possible: employees don't feel watched during normal work, and the organization isn't stuck choosing between blocking AI entirely or allowing it with no guardrails at all. Policy categories aren't fixed, either: when a new AI tool shows up that nobody vetted, or your organization redefines what counts as sensitive, you update the categories once and the change takes effect everywhere immediately, without touching a single device by hand.
